Privacy Policy
Analytics For Website provides web analytics for websites that use our tracking script. This policy explains what data our tracking script collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Analytics For Website is the data processor for websites using our tracking script. The website you are visiting is the data controller and is responsible for informing you about its own privacy practices. Contact us at codexworker.com with any questions about this policy.
What data we collect
When you consent to tracking, our script collects:
- the URL of the page you visit and the page you came from (referrer),
- your IP address, approximate location and language,
- device and browser information (screen size, user agent, whether the device is mobile),
- how long you spend on the page,
- a random identifier stored in your browser to recognize return visits, and
- any
sourceorcampaignparameters in the page URL.
Cookies and local storage
Our script uses browser local and session storage:
afw– a random, pseudonymous identifier used to count return visits (local storage),afw_sid– an identifier for the current browsing session (session storage), andafw_consent– stores your consent choice so we do not ask again (local storage).
Legal basis
We process this data only with your consent. The tracking script does not set cookies and does not send any data until you click “Accept” on the consent banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
How to change or withdraw consent
To withdraw consent, clear your browser's local and session storage for this site (for example, via your browser's “clear site data” option) and reload the page. The consent banner will appear again and you can choose “Decline”.
How long we keep data
Aggregated analytics are kept for as long as the website owner's account is active. Individual identifiers are not used to identify you personally and are never sold or shared with third parties.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data, and to object to processing. Because our identifiers are pseudonymous, contact us and we will help you exercise these rights.
